Summer student work for this summer 2016
« on: Feb 02, 2016, 09:06 »
Here is a comment that I received from a fellow engineer:
Hey Joe, Just a heads up for your first year guys, we're budgeted for 5 summer students at Genesee this year. The posting on Capital Power's website says up to 2 positions but it's really up to 5 depending on how many crews want a student. Good job, good money, firing time, and we pretty much always hire the students back.
To find the posting:
Go to the website below:
http://www.capitalpower.com/Careers/Pages/Opportunities.aspx
Click on the line that says
“Click here to access our Recruitment site"
In the job search field, type “student”, press enter and the job for summer students will come up.
Apply!

Give them some time.

Use Joseph's post as a heads up to get ready.

The posting has been changed so that instead of typing "Power Engineer" in the search field, you will have success if you type "student".
